Players to Add
Jonathon Lucroy is the catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers, and is owned in only 7.7% of ESPN leagues. He has a .364 BA, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs. The Brew Crew just signed him to a long term extension b/c they believe he will be their catcher for the next couple of years. If they believe in him, then I believe in him.
Stephen Drew SS, ARIZ- is a good stash and wait candidate. He could be a lift when he comes off the DL in about a month. If you are weak at SS, look no further than him.
Adam laRoche- has Been great to start the season and is owned in 57% of leagues, He has 2 Home runs, a stellar 341 avg, .426 OBP, is 3rd in the Majors with 12 RBI’s.
Matt Harrison- Why is this guy owned in only 29% of leagues? Has 2 starts on the season totaling 14 Innings pitched,a miniscule 0.64 ERA ,2 wins, 1.07 WHIP.
Hot-starts. Sell High and now
David Wright
Zack Cozart-
Carlos Pena-
Austin Jackson- Has started off really hot by batting .412 with 14 hits in his first 34 ABS. while he does have 10 runs scored. He only has 3 RBI’s and 1 SB. last year he only had 22 SBs. so while Jackson will get to 90 to 100 runs and steal around 25 bases. hes not going to hit homeruns or produce in the runs category. The time to trade him is now
Dee Gordon-
Slow-starts Buy low and now
Aramirs Ramirez- in the last 3 years he has struggled in the first couple of months with a .254 BA in April, and .244 avg in May. I’ve watched this guy play for years and he is a great hitter in a great lineup. Stay patient, you must.
Tim Lincecum- has 2 bad starts this season. Don’t overreact, Hes still good and will still have great numbers when all is said and done. His location has been spotty but he will have another solid season. If you can get him for cheap then go grab him
Zach Grienke- feel the same way about him as do Lincecum. Grienkes last start he got Lit up by giving up 8 runs in 3 and 2/3 innings, but his first starts was a gem as he struck out 7 batters in 7 innings, got the win, gave up 0 runs. You drafted him to be your ace so keep it that way
Lucas duda- “The Duda Abides”- only has 7 hits on the season and is batting .212 on the season. However, he has 3 homeruns. He is going to hit close to 300 so stick with him.
Jay Bruce-
Shin Soo Choo-
