“All Things Fantasy” (7-9-12)

This is Monday July 9th, 2012 edition of “All Things Fantasy” where I talk about some players you should pickup and try to trade for in Fantasy Baseball. Also, I talk some late draft picks you should consider for Fantasy Football. My notes from the show are attached below.

Adds:

Sergio Romo RP, SF (23.5%)- has pitched amazing this season. allowing only 2 ER in 25 IP. he has 30Ks, 2 W;s and 5 Saves. HUGE handcuff for Santiago Casilla

Justin Ruggiano OF- MIA(40%)- has been on fire since becoming the starter and he should see plenty of time with Gioncarlo Stanton out. In his last 13 games he has 4 HRs, 11 RBIs, 3 SB and a decent .429 BA. While he isn’t going to keep those number up. He will see plenty of PT so feel confident starting him the until he starts slumping or Stanton comes back

Norichika Aoki OF, MIL (35%)- This guy has been very consistent all season. He is one of those guys that’s does nothing great but a lot of things well. He has 11 Sbs & 5 HR while batting .301 on the season with a .369 OBP. He was a batting champ in Japan so I don’t see him regressing at all. If your in a deep league and someone to help in OBP, Runs, and SBs this look no further than Aoki .

Pedro Ciriaco SS, BOS (3.5%)- No that’s not a drink, that’s the new starting SS for the Red Sox. he has only played 3 games for them but is 7/13 (.538 BA) with 4 runs, 4 rbis, & 2 SBs.

Jason Vargas SP, SEA (25%)- Hes back on the pickup list and he should feel honored to be on this list. He has had 3 starts since giving up 10 ERs and has been magnificent in all of them as he has accumulated  3 QS, only 1 Win, 22Ks in 23.2 Innings and his ERA is 1.52 and has a 0.85 WHIP. Granted 2  of those were against OAK but it still counts.

Juan Carlos Oviedo

Jonathon Lucroy C, MIL (12%)-
